Hello! I'm Desiree Bobby. My passion for maternity care is deeply rooted in my family. Since childhood, my grandmother, who dedicated 40 years to maternity care, filled my life with wonderful stories and valuable insights. You can imagine how proud she was when I followed in her footsteps. Today, at the age of 37, I continue to find joy in my commitment to this beautiful career. During the maternity week, I'm here to ensure the well-being of both you and your baby. This means not only providing medical care and education but also focusing on nutrition, physical activity to aid recovery, and mental serenity. When body, mind, and soul are in harmony, the healing process is accelerated. The principles of rest, cleanliness, and routine are essential. My goal is to empower you with fresh insights into newborn care and to instill confidence in your parenting journey.

INTAKE
Complete a registration form on this website and I will contact you to schedule a meeting with you. During this conversation I will tell you all about my maternity care and I can answer questions you might have.

VISIT
Well in advance of the birth, I will visit you and your family to discuss your expectations, preferences, and individual circumstances. We've been in touch personally since the beginning of your pregnancy.

BIRTH
During the home birth, I'm present to assist the midwife and offer you support. No unfamiliar faces in the delivery room. Following the birth, I'll remain for a few hours to perform necessary checks and assist with that crucial first feeding.

POSTNATAL WEEK
During the first 8 to 10 days after birth, I'll care for both you and your baby. I will offer guidance on (breast)feeding, educate you about newborn care, discuss nutrition and gentle postpartum exercises, all while guiding you through your first days of parenthood.

I provide consistency and stability through the absence of staff changes. This fosters a trusted relationship between the caregiver and the client, leading to improved and personalized care.
complete care
I guarantee full 49 hours of care with the option to extend up to 80 hours. My care is covered by insurance, with a small personal contribution.
extra postpartum care
I offer the option to obtain additional hours of postpartum care when you need extra support. The rate for this is 50 euros per hour. This way, I can provide that extra touch of assistance.
