Bij Bobby Kraamzorg kijk ik niet alleen naar de eerste acht dagen na de geboorte, maar naar het hele traject rondom ouderschap. Je krijgt geen losse kraamweek, maar een doorlopend zorgtraject van voorbereiding, kraamzorg en nazorg. Dit traject vormt samen het Begeleidingspakket van Bobby Kraamzorg en is afgestemd op jullie gezin en situatie.

I work differently because I don't just look at the first eight days, but at the whole picture of parenthood. At Bobby Kraamzorg you don't get a standard week of care, but a complete process of preparation → maternity care → aftercare. 1. Preparation during pregnancy You will receive two consultations before delivery : Consultation 1 Videocall During this call: • I explain what you can expect from maternity care • we discuss your questions, wishes and expectations • We'll get to know each other so you know who will be coming to your home. • We will look together at what suits your family and situation. Consultation 2 Home visit I will come to your home to: • to guide practical preparation • to see what is needed in your specific situation • to answer questions • to make adjustments where necessary I'm also available throughout the pregnancy for questions, from "Which pump is right for us?" to "What do we really need to have at home, and what shouldn't we?" 2. The Baby School You'll have access to The Baby School , where you'll learn everything about baby care, feeding, sleep, safety, and the first few weeks beforehand. This will help you start your postpartum period with peace of mind and knowledge, instead of stress and uncertainty. 3. Maternity care During the maternity week I offer: • medical checks • nutritional guidance • explanation about care and sleep • monitoring rest and recovery • tailor-made care, tailored to your family 4. Aftercare after the maternity week Once the postpartum period is over, we'll schedule an additional consultation . This time is specifically for any questions that arise later as you get into the swing of things with your baby.

Maternity care and any assistance during labor and delivery are covered by your basic health insurance package. You only pay a statutory personal contribution, unless your supplementary insurance also covers this. In 2025, this contribution is €5.40 per hour. Support during pregnancy and the 4th trimester costs €349. You will receive an additional consultation during pregnancy, a permanent contact person throughout the entire period, guidance with practical preparations, access to The Baby School (10+ courses) and an additional consultation after the maternity week. Health insurers often reimburse part of this through supplementary insurance. The exact amount you receive depends on your insurer and the package you have. As a client of Bobby Kraamzorg, you will only receive a one-time invoice for €349 after the intake interview.

You will receive an average of 49 hours of maternity care, spread over 8 days. This may be slightly more or less, depending on your care indication. • The day of birth counts as day 1 • There is a legal minimum of 24 hours • And a maximum of 80 hours, spread over a maximum of 10 days At Bobby Kraamzorg, I offer personalized care. Because every family needs different support, I reserve 2 weeks in my calendar for your care period. This way, I can truly take the time to give you what you need, regardless of your care needs.

It is smart to arrange maternity care as soon as possible.

Maternity care focuses on medical check-ups, information, guidance on feeding and caring for your baby, and practical help in the first week after delivery.

The midwife provides medical support during pregnancy and childbirth. The maternity nurse offers medical and practical support to the midwife. A doula provides emotional support during pregnancy and childbirth, without performing medical tasks.

If I'm unable to come due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, I'll arrange replacement maternity care through my network of trusted colleagues. This way, you're always assured of care.
